Vladislav Kyzymenko - student at the Comenius University in Bratislava
Hello everyone from Slovakia, from Bratislava!
I am studying at Comenius University with a degree in Applied Economics. I study at one of the most prestigious universities in the country.
Everything is just perfect. Their studying system is different than in Ukraine. Learning is simple. Some subjects are easier for me, and some are more difficult.
Everyone treats foreigners very well, teachers can make concessions at first. They understand that we still don’t speak Slovak very well. When I arrived, in general, I could not say a word in the Slovak language, now I speak well, all the Slovaks I communicate with praise how I can speak after 1 month.
In my free time, I often go out for a walk, or try to find a job. When a stable job appears, and not a part-time, then there will be little free time. There is a lot of work for students here, the choice of work is very large, so there shouldn`t be problems.
I live in a hostel, I would like newer furniture, it is already outdated, but in general, all I need is here. I live with 2 Slovaks, good guys.
The cost of food products does not differ much from Ukrainian prices. Products that are more expensive here are: alcohol, cigarettes, gasoline, appliances, bread and meat, but not so much. In supermarkets in the evening there are frequent sales of products not sold during the day, you can buy them at discounts (while the expiration date is still quite decent). A wonderful city, friendly people, an excellent university.
I really like it here, I am very grateful to the Avers-Express company for this opportunity, thank you very much.
